Message	who doesn't really know. The bottom line is simple...there are always going to be people who try and take advantage of unsuspecting consumers. I'm just doing my part to spread the knowledge brother. For the record, I was seriously confused when Pat kept mentioning a "powder clear" coat...saying that the guys must have gone a little too heavy with the powder clear. Like you said, powder coating is not a painting process at all. No matter who I talked to regarding proper procedure, I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. Seems shady to me. When I explained the coating/baking process, the rep I spoke to agreed with what I was saying and kept telling me that the rims were powder coated, not painted.
